1914, the Admiral
Trademark was created for various sporting apparel. The major achievement
that has carried this company from its British origins to the U.S.
soccer uniform industry, was the production of specific kits. Pioneering
the idea to provide innovative designs and fabrics with major football
club’s official crests or badges was a great hit in the 1970s
and 80s. High 5 Sportswear, Inc., a leader in the soccer uniform
industry, acquired the US rights to design and distribute the Admiral
brand in 1997. Today the restructuring of Admiral in England, the
U.S. and around the world has caused the brand to resurge into soccer
markets worldwide.
