There is a great range of Nike soccer shoes – pretty much,
there is something for everyone. This is a quick guide to some of
our favorite Nike soccer shoes (specifically, men’s Nike cleats):
· Air Zoom Total 90 III FG/SG iD – this Nike soccer
shoe is definitely one of Nike’s most expensive shoes, costing
around $200. Of course, for that $200, you get a soccer shoe that
outperforms most other soccer shoes, and you can personalize it,
as well! This is the sort of shoe that you want to save for game
play… but you will also want to sneak them out for every practice,
as well. This Nike soccer shoe offers excellent comfort and fit.
It has detachable studs, optimal traction, and stud pressure reduction.
You can personalize your Air Zoom Total 90 III’s by choosing
between firm and soft cleats (choosing soft cleats raises the price
by about $10). You have multiple color options – you have
about 6 color options for the base color, 11 color options for the
secondary color, and 13 color choices for the shoelaces, even! You
can make your shoes match practically any soccer uniform or player’s
taste. You can also put your number and your ID on your shoe (and
choose the color of your ID while you’re at it).
· Mercurial Vapor III – for this Nike soccer shoe,
you are not paying a whole lot extra just for personalization options.
It costs around $200, also, but all of that money is spent on a
high quality, form-fitting soccer shoe. The Mercurial Vapor III
also has a carbon heel wrap that will stabilize your heel while
distributing the impact of every heel strike. They also have carbon
composite internal chassis in the midsole and a 2-piece plate and
lightweight aluminum detachable studs that give excellent traction.
Oh, and let me mention once again how this is one of the best form-fitting
soccer shoes available on the market today.
· Nike Air Legend SG – this shoe runs at a slightly
more affordable price of around $130, but it still packs a lot of
punch (or, rather, it packs a lot of “kick.”) Made with
ultra-soft kangaroo leather, this Nike soccer shoe is very comfortable
and fits most feet very well. The outsole has a glass fiber shank
and toe that gives you a stability that is still lightweight.
· Air Zoom 90 III – this Nike soccer shoe is like the
younger brother of the Air Zoom Total 90 III… it is still
a great shoe, but it has a bit of growing up to do. Of course, at
$85, this shoe is much more affordable. Like its “big brother,”
this shoe is built for 90-minutes of great intensity – in
other words, it is a great game shoe. It has spinal structural bars
that offer stability and support. It uses high-density EVA sockliners
that help cushion against impact. It also has many other great features,
but you need to try this pair of shoes on to really get a good idea
of how great they can be.
· Nike Tiempo Mystic FG – these cleats are, perhaps,
some of the least expensive Nike soccer shoes, running at about
$60, but they still have some excellent features. They offer a player
a great touch and feel; the midsole is made from a high-density
and recyled EVA, and the TPU outsole gives great traction, ball
control, and comfort.
