Puma is one of the most respected names in soccer, and they should
be! Puma makes some of the best soccer apparel. And you have certainly
noticed how many great players choose to wear Puma soccer shoes
over any other during a game.
Here are some of our favorite Puma soccer shoes, ordered by category:
SG Soccer Cleats:
· Puma King Pro SG – costs around $125. This pair
of Puma soccer shoes has a Puma Lite leather upper with quilted
vamp as well as Griptex ankle lining. The outsole is a Pebax cleated
outsole with replaceable DuoFLEX technology tipped conical cleats.
· Puma Vencida SG – costs around $60. These weigh slightly
more than the above-mentioned Puma soccer shoes, and they do not
offer quite as good of performance, but this is explained by the
difference in prices. Overall, though, this is an excellent, comfortable
shoe. The studs are aluminum tipped.
FG Soccer Cleats:
· Puma Cellerator Zero – costs around $160 (for the
4 K GCi FG). These Puma soccer shoes are a bit pricey, but you are
still getting a good deal for your money. They are made with very
soft kangaroo leather that fit and feel great. They use Powerframe
Technology which offers excellent stability and support. They include
removable and adjustable Tuning Chassis with integrated e+Cell in
the heel. The outsole is made from very lightweight TPU with bio
mechanically correct ground control configuration and DuoFLEX technology.
You are going to feel a definite difference when you put a pair
of these on your feet – coupled with a lot of practice, a
pair of these Puma soccer shoes will really improve your game.
· Puma Vencida I FG – costs over $50. These Puma soccer
shoes are on the lower end of the price wheel, but they are still
pretty high up when it comes to comfort and stability. They are
made from full grain and soft leather with aa quilted vamp. They
use GripTex ankle lining (extra comfortable) and a fold-over tongue.
The outsole is lightweight -- bi-density TPU injected outsole that
uses DuoFlex technology.
Indoor Soccer Shoes:
· Puma Tourda IT – costs over $80. This Puma soccer
shoe is sharp-looking and high-performing. It is made with fullgrain
leather with Powerframe technology (this is kind of like a seatbelt
for your foot – it prevents recoil and increases power when
you kick the ball). These shoes are very comfortable, partly because
they use microfiber ankle lining. The toe is reinforced, and there
is E-Cell cushioning in the heel and midfoot arch support. The outsole
is made with durable Evertrack non-marking rubber.
· Puma Liga – cost around $60. This is a stylish Puma
soccer shoe that you are certainly going to end up wearing all the
time – they are so comfortable and stylish that you will not
want to take them off. They are made with suede and leather and
the outsole is made with durable rubber.
Truf Soccer Shoes:
· Puma King Allround – costs over $100. The outsole
of these Puma soccer shoes is Evertrack multi-studded Ground Control,
and it definitely offers great traction and ground control. The
upper is made from Puma Lite leather with suede toe reinforcement
and quilted vamp.
· Puma Boca II – costs around $60. The outsole is very
similar to the abovementioned Puma soccer shoe. The upper is soft
full grain leather with toe reinforcement. The quilted vamp gives
it excellent ball touch. And the GripTex ankle lining will give
you greater comfort. You will also appreciate the CM-EVA midsole
with iCell in the heel for cushioning.
Realize that these are just a few of our favorite Puma soccer shoes
– we tried to pick just two for each category, making sure
that at least one pair fell into a lower price range.
To find the best pair of Puma soccer shoes for you, it is definitely
worth going to the store and trying on multiple pairs – be
sure to bring your shinguards and soccer socks to ensure a proper
fit.
