 As
many of the tried and true, successful soccer gear companies, Kappa
is nearly a century old. Kappa was founded as a sock and underwear
company in 1916 in the Italian city Turin.
Many types of clothes have been made by Kappa since then. Kappa’s
business concept was adapted to fit the youth culture of the 60’s,
and concentrated on a casual as well as informal dress code. The
two new lines that were developed in this time, Robe di Kappa and
Jesus Jeans, attracted great attention. The Kappa company believes
in equality of the sexes, and its new and very modern attitude towards
life can be symbolized in Kappa’s world famous Omini-logo:
